INRAE is the French National Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment, a major player in this field in Europe. The team includes researchers from the joint research unit (UMR) between INRAE and Agrocampus Ouest: UMR SMART-LERECO.
The research unit UMR SMART-LERECO, mainly located in Rennes, is structured in two research topics: (i) Organizations, Structures and Performance (OSP) and (ii) Production and Market in Agriculture (PMA). The researchers involved in MIND STEP are associated to the PMA research topic which aims at analysing the determinants and impacts of farmers’ choices on markets and on the environment to determine their consequences on the design of optimal policies regulating agricultural activities and markets. They provide expertise on the micro-econometric modelling of farmers’ production choices.
